Required Process / Documentation

A Study Visa is issued for :

University studies;

Academic study or professional formation's courses at recognized and qualified institutes;

Research and cultural activities.

Necessary Requirements

1. Studies, professional formation or cultural activities that are going to be undertaken must have documented guarantee;

2. The guarantee about self-maintenance must be adequate and not lower than the annual social benefit related to the duration of the required stay;

3. Insurance policy for medical care and hospital admission that may cover the entire duration of the permanence in Italy;

4. The candidate must be older than 14 years old.

To note:
The Embassy may ask for additional documentation to the mentioned one.
